This is the path that we followed. It seemed to have been primarily made by cross country skiiers because it was a tad too skinny for snoeshoes. We broke a bit of the side off with each step.

A shot of Phil from behind. We were perhaps a bit over-equipped for this trip but since it was our first outing of the season, we figured more was better and it was good exercise.

We thought that we needed to climb this ridge and we were part way up when some friendly skiiers informed us that the hut was off to our left and we oughtta begin our traverse.
Those white sticks are trees up on the shoulder. I can't imagine what the winds must be like to cover the trees densely.
