Over the weekend, my friend Adam and I went up to the mountains, camped in snow and climbed to the top of Round Top. Here’s a brief set of pictures until I get the full photo page setup. (Click on each picture to see a larger version)

Oh, very cool. I miss hiking - and that view! Spectacular!

Yeas, it was a pretty spectacular view. The hiking was a bit of a slog up the hill and then some hairy bits on loose rock and ice. All-in-all a jolly good low-grade mountaineering episode.

Clear, blue skies. I’ve almost forgotten what those look like! At least someone in this state still gets to enjoy them.

Well, when we started out around sea level it wasn’t so nice. But once we got up around 5000 ft or so, the sky cleared up. All the photos you see are at 8500 ft and up.
