The bulges and hollows of his muscles were dramatically lit by the setting sun as he gazed out over the hordes of natives brandishing spears like a sharp sea around them. A thoughtful look crossed his face as he spoke, “Well, Mergul, this is another fine mess that I’ve gotten us into.”
    ”Yes, it is.”
    ”So…how are you going to get us out of it this time, brother?”
    Mergul turned an incredulous look on his brother, “How am I going to get us out of this? Why does it fall to me to save your life?”
    ”Well, it’s not just my life - you’re up here too.”
    Mergul harumphed and sat heavily on the ground, “Stand there looking forceful. It’ll keep them away for a bit and give me some time to think.”
    ”Right, stand and look forceful. I can handle that.”
