Every time we make bacon we just pour the new grease on top of the old grease. We haven't had any problems with it smoking - though I'm not sure how high of a temp we use... but you figure if the grease doesn't smoke while the bacon is cooking then you're probably fine to that temp for the pancakes. Does it heat well for a hot pancake skillet without smoking? I have been using butter flavored Crisco for my pancakes because of the high smoke temp but bacon grease just sounds too yummy not to try. In my own completely personal opinion I don't like reading mention of people enjoying or approving of drugs. So I read that line and immediately thought 'I really don't like that one'. Thinking about it later made me realize it wasn't the line itself, which could lead the reader to have a desire to read on about just what the bong was made of, but the subject itself.
