This is the first time in three weeks I’ve been on a computer.  This is my longest stretch without internet access ever since I got on the internet 13 or so years ago.  It took about 2 weeks for the withdrawals to kick in, but I think we’ve set it up now so that I should have at least a little computer time every Sunday after church.

I’d like to be able to write a substantial post, but I’m afraid I’m out of time.  I came into Matt’s office after church this morning with Emma so that I could attempt to catch up on finances and check my email.  I’m about halfway caught up on Quicken, but Emma exhausted her Reader Rabbit attention span so I will have to finish that later.  I glanced at my email (328 unread messages, eek!  And that’s after my junk mail filter went through my email)  but I didn’t do more than delete some obvious stuff.  If someone has an email that they’d like me to actually respond to, it will have to wait until next week.

Camping is going very well, we’re all enjoying it a great deal.  We’ve settled in quite nicely, and if it weren’t for the impending change in weather I’d consider this as a permanent lifestyle.  The washer thingy Charlie recommended works really well and we’ve been mooching showers occasionally from friends and family in the area.  So, we’re staying reasonably clean, very well fed, and extremely well exercised!  I hope that next week I should have a little more time to put together some more substantial thoughts.   We’re going to go visit my mom for a couple days towards the end of next week, so perhaps I’ll have some computer time then.

I hope you all have a wonderful week!
