Snow Blogging
I know, I know, I’m such a flatlander. But look, isn’t it pretty! All this has accumulated since about 7:30 this morning (the pics were taken at about 9:30)

I was supposed to have a midwife appointment at 3 p.m. today, but she just called and said that they’re heading home so they don’t get stuck. I’m glad, because while I was fairly certain I could make it there (yay Subaru) I wasn’t sure that it was something I exactly wanted to do.

I’m with you on getting excited about a little bit snow. I’m also “one of those people” who freaks out about driving in two inches of snow. I’m always reminding locals from upstate NY and the Midwest that there’s a reason D.C. shuts down before the snow starts to fall–I am one reason out of many.

And it is snowing again today - we’re supposed to get 6-12″ up at the property. It is funny how some people react to the snow - I’ve followed people in 4 wheel drive vehicles up our country road who can’t seem to make themselves go faster than 15 mph on a freshly plowed road. Makes that five mile trip take a looong time!
