I can’t believe
I paid $3.799 per gallon for 87 octane gasoline yesterday. Sheesh. Is gas this expensive everywhere, or am I just extra lucky because I live in semi-rural Northern CA? And this wasn’t even at Shell or Exxon - gas costs even more there!
It does make me very glad that I’m going to be able to drive my little car for another year or so before I have to move to a minivan that will get 8+ fewer miles per gallon. (that’s an awkward sentence, isn’t it)

I’m paying $3.69 for mine, and this is in competitive so cal, so I’d say you’re actually quite lucky it isn’t more!
Having a van is nice, but it DOES make you think before driving anywhere when you can’t even fill up the tank on one credit card swipe. They make me swipe it twice because it costs more than $50!

Wow, that must make you cringe. I actually had to pay over $50 to fill my tank the other day (granted, it was $50.25, but still) - I remember in college the first time it cost over $20 to fill my tank and I was amazed. The price went down again then, but I’m not so sure that’s going to happen this time!
